Halcyon Farm B&B is 5 miles south of Amsterdam , exit 27 off I-90, , in historic Mill Point along the Schoharie river. The 7,000 sq foot Federal brick home, once a tavern, was built from 1790 to 1819 and sits between 300 acres of hay fields and woods and the high Blue Bank cliff. The steep stagecoach trail which skirts this cliff survives to this day and is accessible for hiking. Five spacious guest bedrooms have private bathrooms.
